September Workshop for Grands
Meals are not included. Residences have full kitchen facilities. Participants provide their own food and drink for all meals and snacks, from Friday dinner through workshop conclusion on Sunday.
We accept checks and money orders. No other payment methods are available at this time.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Registered participants who wish to cancel and receive a refund must cancel by telephone no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Friday that is two weeks prior to the workshop start date.
Cancellations made after that time will result in forfeiture of 100% of the prepaid registration fee, unless another person registers for the vacated space(s). We maintain a waiting list for workshops that are full.
Registrations must be mailed, and payment must be made in full when registering. We will confirm your registration via a confirmation e-mail or letter; your space is not reserved until you have received confirmation from us.
Registration Deadline
The deadline for regular registration for the fall 2009 workshop is Friday, September 4. When mailing your registration, please allow enough time for it to arrive by that date.
If you are interested in late registration (after September 4), please contact us by e-mail or telephone first to see if we can accommodate you in the workshop.
Combined fee for one grandparent and one grandkid: $200
Combined fee for one adult and one child, after September 4,
space permitting: $200
Note: due to housing limitations, one adult/one child is the only combination possible.
Fee includes instruction and activities, all class materials, equipment use, handouts, guided field trips, and two nights accommodation in Sevilleta residence housing.
Since we have no control over weather or sky conditions, workshops are held regardless of conditions. Alternate indoor sessions and activities are planned in the event that evening observing sessions are cancelled or delayed due to poor conditions. There will be no refunds for weather or sky conditions.
